Sustainability
We place sustainability at the center, aspiring to be an efficient and profitable business, in balance with society and care for the ecosystem.
We are part of Ultramar, with a history of more than 70 years and operations in 17 countries across the Americas. We base our sustainability strategy on four common pillars that respond to a triple-impact management model: economic, social and environmental. These pillars challenge us to keep evolving:
COMMITMENT TO CLIENTS
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE
Our Integrated Safety, Health and Environment Policy
AMS's integrated safety, health and environmental policy is the commitment of all of us who are part of the company. This policy extends to all our customers, subcontractors and visitors.
BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A SAFE WORKPLACE
WE PROTECT OUR OWN LIFE AND THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE AROUND US
WE TAKE CARE OF OUR ENVIRONMENT
WE ARE RESPONSIBLE
WE IMPROVE OUR PROCESSES
Ethics | Complaints Channel and Code of Conduct
We are firmly committed to the highest standards of business ethics, integrity and compliance.
Our Code of Conduct provides a principled guide for the day-to-day operation of business in accordance with our values. It is the cornerstone of the Compliance program, compiling and expressing the values, principles and ethical standards that govern the behavior of AMS individuals and companies.
Commitment to this code is empowering and accountable, and implies that we act responsibly and seriously in the event of evidence of inappropriate practices or conduct.
We make available to all our employees, customers, suppliers and other third parties, a channel for complaints, which may be made anonymously or personally.
To ensure the security, reliability and confidentiality of this instrument, the channel is managed by an independent company.
